Notes/Commercial Description:
TROOPER takes its name from the Iron Maiden song which is inspired by the famous Charge of the Light Brigade. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character.

TROOPER is a Premium British Beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

Poured from 16.9 oz. bottle to an imperial pint.

A: Slightly cloudy chestnut in color with a foamy but thin off-white head.

S: Malt, caramel, toffee, diacetyl, grassy hops.

T: Biscuit, caramel, grassy hops, lemony tartness, fairly bitter.

M: Medium-light bodied, with a waxy resinous aftertaste.

O: Nothing special about the beer, but man, the label kicks ass! This one is going on the shelf.

Clean copper appearance, with a good foa, off-white, and long standing.
English smell, with some pepper, som etea, and earthly notes. Standard, but pleasant.
Similar notes in the mouth, clean and drinkable.
Well done beer, balanced, classic, easy to drink.

Overall an okay beer that is really easy to drink and even enjoyable on this hot summer day. Just so much better stuff out there. Really cool bottle and band nostalgia if your into 'Iron Maiden' even remotely I would definitely grab it~

Iron Maiden, will it have me screaming for vengeance? Let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a very bready malt smell. Pours to a deep golden brown with a three finger head that has a creamy top. On the taste I get a nice balanced slightly bitter solid brew that is common but tasty. Mouthfeel is solid. If any beer is a sessioner, it's this one. Nice ABV @ 4.7 and good ordinary but inoffensive taste. For an everyday drinker this one is a winner.
