Giant Eagles in PA have starting carrying beer. So far each Giant Eagle I have been to has carried a slightly different selection of six packs so it looks like it will vary from location to location. At the seven fields store you have a nice selection but a selection not on par with six pack stores that cater to craft brew drinkers. The six packs are stocked in five coolers. One cooler is dedicated to macro's and another to speciality drinks, ciders, and lemonades stuff like that. The three other coolers are for micro's. At this location most of the mirco's are local with the standard west cost brews also being included. Penn Brewing, Church Brew Works, and Troeggs are well represented. Also Seirra Nevada, Bear Republic, and Sam Adams are present. For the area, the brewers are the standard fare that you would see at a good beer bar, or at a good six pack store, just not in those quantities. The 22 oz selection is decent with alot of Sam Smith and some local stuff. The service is hard to find at times and really isn't there to do anything more than ring you out. The price is cheaper than six pack stores in the area, but there is also no mixing of six packs.

Needed a 6 pack for football and stopped here. They have one long cooler with your standard BMC beers. They also have a decent selection of craft beers, which is nice if you are in a pinch. They have Troegs, Great Lakes, Penn Brewery, Church Brew Works, North Coast, Erie Brewer, Sam Adams, Sam Smith, Bear Republic...etc.
They also have a a small section of warm beers which contains some 6 packs and bombers. It is pretty similar to what you find in the coolers.
Overall, for a quick 6 pack, this is a good place to stop, but for me, I prefer the local bottle shop for my beer.
