Matuska Tmavy lezak (dark lager) -- A natural “unfiltered, unpasteurized, yeast and vitamin B6 and B12”
A - Clear reddish mahogany with tan head of moderate duration
Aroma: The aroma is fairly typical of a Czech dark lager, but a tad more yeasty and complex.
Taste: near mild flavor of medium toasted malt. Very little hop flavor.
M – very smooth; somewhat light but adequate carbonation.
O – a refined, mellow brew that’s very easy to drink but a bit timid in flavor.

330 ml bottle with Matuka Tmavý on the front.
Pours dark red brown with large and brown head. Aroma is caramel, toasted malt, hints of yeast and bits of smoke.
Taste is a complex combination of roasted malt, dark fruit, licorice; tabacco flavours towards the slowly drying finish, more bitterness appears in the aftertaste.
Overall, an excellent Tmavý.

Dark brown color, with reddish reflexes. A beautiful cream colored foam, very compact and creamy.
In the smell, caramel over all. Not too strong, but present.
Malt and caramel in the taste, quite banal, but still more than drinkable.
A bit of light burnt note in the back.
Light body, drinkable, but a bit banal in the end.
