This one pours a very cloudy pale golden color that looks as if it were in front of a white sheet of paper. The head is a thick fluffy white that is more than reasonably long lived with a moderate lacing down the glass.

The nose is tart and citrus with oranges, lemon and grapefruit in the mix. The malt s a dry experience to the nose that has sour notes and fruity undertones with a tinge of hopping.

The taste is effervescent, crisp and tangy with the sour notes under the citrus and strong lemony flavor. The hops are subtle but that is fine.

The mouthfeel is almost perfect and delivers this one to the palate very effectively.

Overall this one is exceptionally good and a fantastic Weiss. I highly recommend it and can't wait to get more.

Cloudy straw colored pour with a foamy white one-finger head. Has a strong yeasty aroma with hints of lemon. Really nice light lemon tart flavor backed by mild yeast and biscuit. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Near perfect example of the style.

Tasted 28 July 2014.

Pours a medium clear golden yellow. Two fingers of white fizzy head, okay retention and lacing.

Smell is delicate and delightful. Bright and clean, with just the right touch of lemony tartness. Soft, but stellar.

Taste is also quite good. Again, it's got the two elements I want from a berliner - clean, and light tart. I could use just a bit more of that tartness, as the wheat becomes sweet and starts to detract from the refreshment. Better cold, faded as it warmed.

Feel is good. Light-bodied, fizzy carbonation. Spot-on.

This beer reminds me why I love this style. It's the perfect thing to drink on a summer afternoon. Clean and crisp, with just a hint of lemon and acidity to take the edge off. Very nice.
