Consumed at brewery on 07/31/09.

Beer is a moderate cloudy yellow with a small, dense white head.

Proper hefe aromas: clove, banana, wheat, citrus.

Palate follows sinuses: powdery soft flavor with mingled banana, lemon, tangy wheat and cloves. Complex, well-balanced and somewhat light.

Properly carbonated mouthfeel.

I could drink a couple of pints of this one!

The beer is amber-orange in color with a white head. Really intense nose of coriander, clove, bubblegum, and banana. A little bit of white pepper, too. There is a decent malty sweetness as well. The flavor has a moderate malt sweetness and good banana notes. Very heavy on the clove with a decent bubblegum flavor. Some notes of citrus and phenol as well.

On tap at Wolf Creek Brewing in Valencia, CA.

Pours a murky orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, wheat, yeast, spices, and a huge banana aroma. Taste is much the same with a mild banana flavor and a fairly strong soapy taste after each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty average beer taste wise which is disappointing because this one smells great in my opinion.
