I'm reviewing after going to their location in agoura hills, not valencia.
Went here after going to the Lab and Ladyface in agoura hills.
The restaurant is nice looking when you walk inside, they have a good location.
We sat at the bar but they have a few booths and tables and a nice outside area as well.

The bartender wasn't actually rude but let you know she could care less if you were there or not.
Ordered a flight of their beers and all were unimpressive and tasted watered down.

Bad service and tasteless beers.

I visited Wolf Creek Brewing recently. I had only been here once before a couple of years ago. It's a pretty cool little spot with a slight outdoors/camping vibe with timber wood and wolves and whatnot for decoration. I sat at the bar and got their beer sampler (5 of their beers plus 1 guest beer) for $9.95. The service was pretty good but slightly slow here and there. The quality of all the beers was good and everything tasted fresh. The selection is 5 to 7 house brews plus another 5 or so guest taps. They also have a bottle list as well. Prices were reasonable for beer but slightly high for food items. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Stayed nearby when in town, so decided to hit this place up one night for a nightcap. Walked in at 9:59pm, and they were just starting to close. Really?! At 10:00pm? Huh. Anyways, we just snuck in. The decor looked alright. Small bar area to the right. The brewery was visible through some windows behind the bar. They had about 5-6 of their own beers on-tap (though 2 of them were gone when we tried to order them) and a few "guest" taps. The bartendress was friendly. I ordered a pint of their Black IPA, which was underwhelming. We couldn't order any food as the kitchen had closed, so I can't say whether the food was any good or not. All-in-all, this was a meh-experience. Not sure I would revisit this place.

I live right up the street from Wolf Creek, and I can say hands down it is one of my favorite places to get some delicious food and a great beer or two. They have a wide variety of foods offerings to pick from, from make-your-own pizza to seared Ahi tuna. All of the food I have tried has been amazing in flavor and quality.

The house beers are always mighty tasty as well, although to my palatte, they suffer from under-carbonation most of the time... it changes the mouthfeel a bit. It is not a terribly big deal to me, because the flavor of their beers is usually phenomenal. A Tripel brewed with American hops? Yes please. They also always have an amazing guest tap/bottle selection, with a wide variety of styles and breweries to satisfy even the most demanding of palettes. One note, it can get pretty busy on the weekends, which can cause the service to suffer a bit, but order another beer to pass the time and you'll soon forget about it. Love this place, and will always recommend to people unfamiliar with the area.

Just got back from my first time to Wolf Creek Brewing Restaurant & Brewery.

Went with a group of four on a Saturday afternoon, on our way back to the San Fernando Valley. We had just come from Frazier Park (Snow Day, yeah it's a bit rare around here)

They accoomidated a friends dog on the outside of the pation, which was cool. We got 3 samplers in our group ( wanted 4, but they didnt have enough sampler glasses to accomidate us) The taster flight included their blonde, IPA, Hefeweizen, Red Ale, and Black IPA. The guest tap in the flight was Anderson Valley Stout, which was good as well.

The service was very good, prompt, and attentive (but not overly where it's annoying or rushing you) The food was pretty tasty, somewhat similiar to say Chili's or Marie Calendars, but better food. Prices were all reasonable, including $7.50 for 6 4 oz tasters. Pints were also typical, $5.00-$6.00.

Really not that bad, and a welcome site for the area. Would come by again for lunch or Growler if in the area.

I have been going here for years, but never really thought to give it a reivew.

I really enjoy eating at Wolf Creek. The food coming out of this place has to be some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. The atmosphere, and the slightly small location makes this a definite stop in town.

Beer was good, but the hefe left much to be desired. I loved the DIPA, and the Red they had on tap and that they had some good guest taps as well.

I have never had any bad service whatsoever. Every waiter or waitress has been professional, and matter of fact.

I was making the drive out of town for the holiday weekend and made it a point to stop by Wolf Creek for the first time and pick up a couple of growlers that we could have later with dinner once we got to our destination.

The vibe was a good local feel, as mentioned, lots of custom mugs hanging on the wall behind the bar. The servers were attentive at the bar and promptly filled tasters of all the house brewed selections. Guest taps were present, at the time there were four flowing (three house brewed beers for a total of seven from what I recall). I didn't have the food, but from what others have said here and in taking a look at the menu, I'll make sure to next time and will add an updated review.

The brew is very approachable and balanced and I'm sure that the local crowd gathered there was testament. In talking with a few folks at the bar as well as the servers, the Blonde was the hands down highest volume beer ordered. The server guessed two to one.

I ended up getting a growler of the pale and a growler of the red. While the pale was balanced and enjoyable, the red did stand out at 8% and barrel aged. It still retained the drinkability that the style is known for even with the higher ABV (which was WELL hidden).

Overall a good value and solid location. I'd spend some more money and time here if it was more local. Just goes to show that the "if you build it they will come" saying is more than just a theory.

Updated on 7/17/09:

Have been back many times since, having only 3 of their own beers on tap was an anomaly, usually have 5 or 6. Their Bourbon Oak Red is awesome as well as their brown ale. Have had their hummus & have to say it's one of the best I've had anywhere. Service is always top notch.

Nice neighborhood bar, lots of locals, not too loud, so you can have a good conversation even when crowded. Not a large place. Curious thing was they only had 3 of their own brews on tap, Golden, Pale Ale & Hefe, and they were all on the light side. Golden was the most popular in the time I was there & the bartender confirmed. Lots of guest taps, Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout, Green Flash IPA, Alaskan Amber & about 6 others. Food is a little pricey, but I had an appetizer, & it was quite good. I would definitely recommend the place, decent selection of beer on tap.
