Yay, first review! A little surprised as this is a fairly good Austin staple eatery/drinkery that's been around for a bit. I hope I do it justice!
I'd say the best element of the Pour House is the outdoor patio: spacious and really laid back. It feels like a nice local bar where you can get a decent beer.
They have 34 taps (two rows of 17 on the menu) and have a solid selection of Texas beers with a few out of towners. (E.g. Spaten and Franziskaner for example). My only criticism of the beer selection is that it doesn't really have anything for the beer explorer. If you've tried all the local beers you're not going to be too surprised. Prices are good, and service is friendly. Food is solid, but not amazing.
This is a great place to have a Live Oak Hefe (or Franziskaner) on a hot Austin afternoon.
