I'm a little short of info on this beer. It seems to basically be the Dottie Lager that's been run through the machine that crushes the grapes in the wine making process.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured the medium reddish brown of Dottie, with about an inch of off-white head that had moderate retention and lacing.

There was a faint grapey aroma at the front of the nose, otherwise it had the nice grainy malts of Dottie. The flavor was, uh, interesting. There was an odd flavor throughout, and a noticeable hit of grape on the finish, but these flavors seemed to cover up the nice beer flavors of the base beer. This wasn't unpleasant, but not really enjoyable to me either.

The body, as expected, was about the same as Dottie, full without being heavy, and smooth. Drinkability suffered from the odd flavors, even letting several others try sips, I had a chore to finish my pint. Overall, an interesting experiment that didn't seem to work out, at least to me.It's probably worth a shot if you see it, make up your own mind.
