vibe: 4.75 | quality: 4.5 | service: 5 | selection: 4.75 | food: 4.5

Vibe: Seems to be a very authentic vibe. Two different rooms, with a kitchen separating them. One room has rather vintage looking floral wallpaper with natural wood strutured colomns. The other room is all gloss wood paneling, floors, and brick. The ceiling is a tin ceiling painted green. Great vibe. The bar is really neat as well, with all of its taps on display, and proper German glassware throughout.

Quality: Exceptional quality. The food was wonderful, the service great, and the beer exceptional. Masterfully poured in the proper glassware.

Service: Very good. Not many employees out serving, but all of them know their stuff and are willing to help. Very pleased.

Selection: While the food selection was not exceptional, I am mainly focusing on their beer selection since this is BA afterall. They offered about 3 different taps from Weihenstephaner and Warsteiner. A few other taps were various Belgian style ales brewed in the United States.

Food: Excellent. I ordered the pork Weiner Snitzel, and it was very good. Portions seemed good as well. The downside was the prices seemed to be a bit high, but that doesn't mean the food didn't live up to the price. Just something to consider.

Had dinner here tonight

Great German look to this place, nice german polka piped in at a decent sound level. More a family joint where you can enjoy some beers than a straight up German Beer hall

Had one good beer & one that was obviously old
(Spaten Oktoberfest with hints of cardboard)

Service was attentive & friendly

Some bottle beers, 8 beers on tap to include Grimbegen & Boulevard PA, thank Gott no BMC! Minor bitch; my Korbinian was served in a pils glass

Food was pretty good, not great, desserts looked yummy. Had the Ziegenerschnitzel (pork) & spatzle. passable, not good

$30 for dinner & 2 beers. $6 for a .5 liter of stale Spaten seems silly. Would come here again if this is THE best German Joint in the KC area...

Enjoyed lunch on 2-1-12. The restaurant is in a quiet part of town that don't see much traffic. The quality of the place was great. Very clean and well kept.

The service was great. A friend and I tried 3 different beers. The waitress was very knowledgable with their beer selection. Each beer was served in a proper glass. Waitress said that the owner pays close attention to make sure the beer is served as the brewer intends it.

The Selection I don't have much to compare it to. Their beer selection was good. Maybe 7 different styles of German Beer.

The food was very authentic. It was a place like no other in Kansas City, and if it is I don't know about it.

The Price was reasonable, it was not outrageous. An overall good experience. I will be back.
