$1.95 @ Charles Street Liquors, Boston, MA:

http://beeradvocate.com/beerfly/user_reviews/1008/

Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

Appearance: Bubbly off white ocean froth head, sporadic stickage shows good retention as well. Bright and clean leathery amber color.

Smell: Malt sweetness, toasted husk. Faint fruitiness off of a pretty clean nose.

Taste: A tad juicy from the yeast, maltiness all around with only a single handed hop bitterness to try and swat the malt and keep it in check. Toasted grain and husk linger middle to finish. Ends semi-dry.

Mouthfeel: Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body, a little slick on the tongue.

Notes: A decent run of the mill amber ale, I’d have no problem knocking back a few.

Appearance: A rather nice amber witha decently thick off white head.

Aroma: Caramel malts, sublte brwon bread, bits of citrus eminating from the hops. Way in the back is a twinge of carob.

Taste: Smooth mouthfeel with a light sticky texture. Notes of toffee, caramel malts, small amounts of citrus fruits. It's fairly malt forward the hops are simply there to give it a little bit of balance.

Notes: Tasty all the way around. Cheers.

12oz longneck.
A) Pours with a finger thick head. Amber body with a slight bit of haze.
S) Caramel malts. "Buttered toast" aroma.
T) Pleasant malts. Buttery and biscuit taste. Slight bit of sour toward the finish.
M) Creamy. Medium-light body. Some tannin in the finish.
O) A decent brew. I'd have another.
