A: Hazy pumpkin-blended-with-corn color, with a small but dense head of tan/orange foam. Medium low levels of carbonation. Lacing is present in the glass.
S: Aroma of dry hops, grain and a definite note of pale malts. I like that the malt is present, yet not overpowering. Minor afterthoughts of corn and earthy straw.
T: Rather dry. Flavors of hoppy leaves and biscuit dominate, with a touch of sweetness and grain. Not bad.
M: Average, all round. Nothing too memorable. Carbonation falls off, even being as it was a touch low. Viscosity is absent. Lackluster.
D: Not bad. I guess this could be a sessioner, but it's slightly dry for my liking. Doesn't have much of a "ahhhh" factor (feels like something is missing, leaving me wanting more). But still, i've had far worse IPA's, and this is nothing to turn your nose up at.
Notes: Special thanks to themaniacalone for the sample.

Thin head, barely half a finger of orange tinted eggshell tan color, the lacing has decent thickness but close to no stickiness. Cloudy yellow-orange liquid, opaque and holds light easily, hard to see any bubbles floating inside. The nose full of grains, wheat and sourdough, pepper, earth and grass, spoonful of molasses yet not a lot of pine, citrus or pit fruit, small dose of cocoa, kind of tough and gritty and without a sustained sweet component. Medium-bodied, the carbonation grinds things in place, not much spreading out. Cocoa, mocha, orange peel, pine and nectarine to pineapple fruit give it a nicely typical IPA profile, at the same time it stays within itself, no distracting burn. Credible malt presence, brings more sweetness than any citrus or flowers. Compact ending without seeming short. Lack of flash might tempt you to underrate it.
