It is so cool to have gone on vacation in Martha's Vinyard and for there to be a brewpub right there on the island.

First off, the good. I tried 2 beers. Both were very nice. The stout was smooth and creamy with a pleasant roasted taste. I also enjoyed "the Goddess," a cloudy, amber colored, hopped Belgian inspired beer. It was very good.

On tap, they had several others available, including an IPA, Amber, blueberry and I am sure I am missing 1 or 2 others. The Amber and IPA are their apparent flagship beers. Offshore bottles these 2 beers, using a 3rd party from the mainland.

The food was decent. Not a giant menu. They serve peanuts and the shells are tossed on the ground. Although no one actually served us the peanuts.

There is a nautical theme...2 boats hang overhead...other assorted items are on the walls.

The bad...well, not really bad....but, the bar is quite small...there are maybe 7 seats. The dining area is not tiny, but relatively small and compact. The menu was okay. The chunks of clam in my chowder were a bit too large.
Also, no sampler is available. This is honestly the first brewpub I have ever been to that does not serve a beer sampler. (You can ask to try to taste a beer, though, before you order it)

Overall, though, beer lovers need to visit here when you are on the island. Just don't expect to get a seat at the bar. The dining area is not large (although they do have some outdoot seating).

The beers were fresh and tasty. The food, a tad pricing but not outrageous for island prices...when asking for a beer, for a $2.95 additional charge, you can get a logo pint (for the collectors out there like me). T-shirts are also available at the front counter.

All beers brewed on the premises, which is amazing, given how busy the establishment is. A 2pm tour is offered Wed to Sat in summer (2015 - $10 gets a tasting, tour, and a glass). Food is very good, standard pub fare. Very busy all summer, every day, all day. Try the Lazy Frog IPA, or, when available, the Hop Goddess Belgian--growlers at reasonable prices.

Probably my favorite brew pub in the world. Super friendly staff, live music every day. Awesome beer. Their pizza kicks ass, brick oven, crispy delicious. Their best beer IMO is Hop Goddess and it is always fresh and on tap. Grab a growler before you leave the island!

My favorite place to get craft beer on the island. Forget any of the package stores or any other place which serves beer, this is the real deal for craft beer on MVY. When I visit I try to get here as often as I can whether for a pint or two or to fill up a growler to take back. There is usually a great variety of beers to choose from. I definitely recommend Hop Goddess if it's on the board. Great location in OB. Peanuts for ever and great food to boot. Staff is always friendly as well. There is really no other reason to go anywhere else for your craft beer needs while on the island.

Great beers and great food. The flatbread pizzas out of the brick oven are fantastic and worth the wait; the toasted raviolis are also a personal favorite. With about eight beers on tap, there's always more than enough to try and even more to bring home in the growler. Plus -- all the peanuts you can eat while you wait.

Would highly suggest a tour too if you have time to kill -- they're by appointment, but just call and set something up (think they usually post the hours on the website for this).

This is a great place in downtown Oak Bluffs. It is nice to have a place to go to have a great beer and watch some live music on the weekends! The pizza here is phenomenal! The beers are pretty great too! It's a throw the peanut shells on the floor type of place, which is fun too!

This was a spot I had heard great things about and on my week long trip to Martha's Vineyard recently I had to hit this place up.

When I went here for dinner I sat in the outside seating which was nice. Since it was just my girlfriend and I there was no wait which I was very happy about on a Sunday night. Only complaint was there wasn't a ton of seating at the bar which made stopping in for a pint a bit difficult. Waitress was also good and timely for the amount of people she was taking care of.

The dinner was very good. Started out with the Parmesan truffle fries. I had the special which was a herb crusted bluefish. A bit pricey at $22 but the portions were good and it tasted even better. I had two pints of their Hop Goddess. Bill for everything was about $55 if I recall correctly. They had a special Imperial Stout on tap but I didn't end up getting it. No cask option when I went which was kind of disappointing.

I was very pleased with this brewpub on the island and I will absolutely be going back when I end up on the Vineyard.

Great to find a brew pub on Martha's Vineyard. The setting is rustic, fitting to the town. The outside seating is in relation to beer garden, with vines, small trees and other greens partially obstructing the view of the street. Still, you do not feel secluded.

The food is upgraded pub fare, focused a bit more of seafood. We sampled a couple different types of raw oysters, and moved on to a fried clam basket, a pretzel dish, and a hummus plate. The portions are big, the food is tasty, and the price is pretty much right given the location.

The beer ranges from average to good. I had the IPA and the nut brown, both were acceptable. I also sampled the hefe which was good. Growler fills are available.

The service was prompt and super friendly. I will return next time Im on Martha's Vineyard.

Visited on a Friday afternoon in late August while "on the island/vineyard" for vacation. After a day of touring, shopping, and hoping for a glimpse of the vacationing first family, our group stopped in for a couple of pints and a light dinner.

Offshore is located in the main town on the island where the ferries dock and I think most of the shopping resides. It's an easy block off the main drag and is identified on the tourist map you pick up almost anywhere.

The only downside of our visit was it came late in the day before fireworks at the nearby beach/park. Lots of people were coming in for an early dinner and our group of four settled for a cramped table in the bar.

Once we locked in on a server, service was pretty good considering the crowd. My buddy and I had a hefe and a hop goddess which was a higher bitterness and alcohol than their IPA. It was one of the finest hoppy brewpub beers I've had this year (and I've had a lot). The hefe was also very nice. We got a chicken bbq pizza which was excellent. We got a six pack of the IPA when back on the mainland later in the week - very bitter and not too fruity - a good beer.
