A lil place right up against the Truckee river, riverwalk and all. Has some trendy spot next to it, this place is all about high end beer, with an amazing foreign selection. Don't get me wrong, they have great American stuff too, I mean, to get an Abyss for only $17 at a bar is a steal.
Laid out with lots of space for a room so small. I think they have about 6 taps. Seem to always have something I've never had, Nogne-O is always representin' up in this place. Mikkeller too. In fact, my last visit, had a Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel and a DFH Theobrama. Nice. Bartenders have always been cool, the guy shared what he liked, made recommendations. The chick, well, she was hot, not so much knowledgeable, but you gotta like a girl with implants who isn't even 21 yet.
One thing I like about this place in comparison to other bars in Reno, is that they don't have this beer list that looks impressive, and then they don't have a bunch of said beers. Its all behind a cooler door, you just look and order.
Anyways, another interesting thing about this place, its the only bar I've ever seen a guy take 4 hits of LSD in.

Stopped in here with a group of friends late Friday night/early Saturday morning. It was the fourth and final stop of a pub crawl that included Ceol, St. James Infirmary, and Imperial. I have to admit, I was pretty buzzed when we arrived.
Ole Bridge Pub is a small bar located along Truckee River Lane in downtown Reno. The location is beautiful, and I'm sure it's a great place to hang out during the day. The interior is clean, and the glass storefront opens right up to the river walk. It was a nice setting, even in the wee hours of the morning. With that said, it was also surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Besides us, there were about seven or eight other patrons, and most of them were casually playing shuffleboard against the far wall.
The beer selection was wasn't too large, but it was rich. The draft offerings included St. Rogue Red, Deschutes Obsidian Stout (on nitro), Lagunitas IPA, Scrimshaw Pilsner, and Nøgne Ø Imperial Brown Ale, to name a few. In bottle, they carried a multiple beers from Brouwerij De Molen, Hitachino, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Sierra Nevada, Delirium, Stone, Mikkeller, Baladin, and others.
We only stayed for one round, partly because the group was getting tired, and partly because prices were a little steep and the bartender was being a dick. Grunts, sighs, and rolling eyes were his specialties that night.
I'd like to come back to this place during the day, especially if a different bartender was manning the taps. Check it out if you've got extra time in downtown Reno... that is, after you go to St. James Infirmary.
