Pumpkin Ale |  7.50% ABV

Availability: Fall

Notes/Commercial Description:
Named after the Irish legend of the Jack O Lantern. Brewed real pumpkins and subtle spicing to make sure you can enjoy more than 1 pint per session. A drier version of your standard Pumpkin ale, ours is not cloyingly sweet. A nice toasty/biscuity flavor from the American pale ale malt.

Undated bottle at 50 degrees into standard pint glass
Aroma primarily of clove with some other spices in the background
Head average (3 cm), off-white, creamy with some froth, mostly lasting
Festoons of lacing
Body clear, medium orange
Flavor begins as moderately sweet and earthy, spices very subdued, no alcohol, no diacetyl, no hops
Ends with a sweet aftertaste, but not too sweet.
Palate is medium, creamy, and has soft carbonation

A very attractive beer, lacking any marvelous qualities. IMHO, very drinkable; the low spice load makes it less off-putting than many pumpkin ales.

22oz bottle poured in to a glass, it has a burnt copper color body with no head to it. The aroma is of roasted pumpkin and some spices. The taste does not have a dominant flacor it is well balanced between the pumpkin and spices. It has a nice taste and mouthfeel is nice and overall a good pumpkin beer.
