Heady like the sweet breath of Zephyrus, our India pale ale is redolent of citrus, apples, and pears, balanced by a touch of caramel. We use malted barley grown by local farmers and add a special blend of Cascade, Centennial, and Calypso hops to create this juicy, hoppy ale.

Pretty good, but a lot of ipa's are pretty good. Might have been better fresher. 3 months old when I got it.

Tastes like you're drinking a pine tree. A bit of apple too, yeah. I quickly learned to grab this when I want a reliable change of pace from the orange smoothie stuff saturating the shelves in my state. Did they change the abv recently? The one I'm drinking right now is only 6.5%, which is kind of a bummer.

Taster at taproom. Medium, clear golden pour, thin fine head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, floral and peppery. Quite a bit going on. Taste presents both caramel malts and floral hops, that recalls notes of mint and pepper. Dry, fast finish.

Can: Poured a pale copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrusy hops notes. Taste is amix of citrus hops notes with some clearly noticeable bitterness and light grainy malt notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable old school IPA.

A very nice west coast IPA. Hop flavor is piney and bitter, as intended. Look is just slightly hazy, and nose is earthy. A nice west coast IPA from the east coast.

A: The beer is crystal clear amber orange in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy off white head that gradually died down, leaving a short head covering the surface, a collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of earthy and herbal hops are present in the nose along with notes of grapefruit citrus.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of earthy and herbal hops with hints of grapefruit and a strong amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is both very earthy/herbal and bitter, delivering a large bite on the mouthfeel. It really cleanses the palate.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/6/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, cherry, red apple, mango, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, cherry, red apple, mango, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, cherry, red apple, mango, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Nice Cascade, Centennial, Calypso profile. Very unique from the Calypso. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and juicy balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Grew on my through the glass with the unique hop character.
