Appearance: 1/4 inch head and high carbonation, gold in color, hazy
Smell: lemon, wheat, and malt
Taste: big banana, wheat, and grain
Mouthfeel: sweet, light in body, medium carbonation
Overall: Of all the Rising Tide beers, this may be my favorite. I found this to be sweet and very clean. I will be getting this again.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle stamped BORN: APR 2013. Sampled on May 12, 2013.
The pour is an unfiltered hazy pale yellow with moderate carbonation building up to a huge puffy head that eventually settles back.
The aroma includes a fine array of bread, biscuit, wheat, and citrus zing not unlike pineapple or maybe something less tart like pear.
The body is light to medium with a pleasant creaminess.
The taste also highlights the bread, wheat, and citrus with a low bitterness with no lingering sensation. However the beer on the whole is very easy to drink and refreshing.

A: The beer is slightly hazy light pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down and consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of banana esters and wheat are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has a little fruity sweetness along with some subtle hints of clove.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very drinkable, thirst-quenching and refreshing. It is a perfect beer for a hot summer day and is a good American representation of a German style.

Pours a straw color, slightly hazy, small fizzy head fades quickly and leaves no lacing.
Smell starts out with a malty front and has a light grassy aroma, slight citrus presence.
Taste has a decent lemon zing to it, sweet malt rounds it out, light bitterness in the aftertaste that finishes fast, carbonation is high and active, finishes slightly sweet but maintains a clean finish.

Hazy pale yeller with a thin white head. Bubble gum, clove and sour wheat aroma. Taste is fairly tart with mild clove accompaniment. Not much 'nana in this here hef.
Definitely more of an American interpretation that traditional German. Actually tastes more like Hoegaarden that a her at all.

Not really a full review, as I only had it at a store tasting (but it was a substantial size "sample"). Bottom line, the combination of price and taste did not encourage me to buy it, although I would say that it's representative of its type and is worth trying for those who like it (I generally do not).
The pour had slight head, clarity hard to determine in a dark-green plastic sampling cup but it appeared cloudy. The brewery rep clearly had a long day and did not really want to be there, but this was the item he really wanted to push, as it is new and timely. He repeatedly stated that it should taste like cloves and bananas although there are no cloves or bananas in it. He was half-right. There was a noticeable green-banana nose and a very clear banana note on the tongue. Not so much on the cloves -- no characteristic bitterness or spiciness of any kind. Slight undifferentiated citrus note to go along with typical yeasty goodness. Other than that, fresh but unremarkable. I'm not likely to go back to it, as I have a mixed wit case to deal with and all are substantially lower-priced.
