A sturdy pour was needed to release a finger of white fizzy foam with very short retention, no lacing or cap.
Cloudy yellow straw color with a hint of orange.
Mild smell of Wheat Thins and sour citrus, very mild hops.
Neutral taste with medium-low bitterness. Grapefruit flavor over fresh baked wheat bread, a peppery bitterness slowly builds to above average. Yeasty and fruity, the finish is soft with a mild bitter aftertaste lingering on.
Medium-light body. Although it appears to go flat a few minutes, reserved carbonation can be swirled up at any time.
Smooth feel with barely detectable alcohol.

Almost a semi-light Hefeweizen. Has everything that most good Hefeweizens have, but with the volume turned down to 8/10. Nice esters, mild clove and background banana notes. A Hefeweizen for the summer, one you could drink a few of on a warm day.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice hazy golden hue that fades to leave light lacing.
S - Big aromas of banana esters and coriander. Phenols are a bit light.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of banana puree, really creamy. Almost banana pudding like. Loads of creamy wheat.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, body is a bit heavy.
O - Overall this was a solid enough hefe, great banana notes!

Draft at the brewery
Big creamy foamy head, good lacing and retention, very hazy cloudy pale golden orange color
Nose good citrus, fruity esters, touch of bubblegum, toasted grainy bread, doughy wheat, touch lemony with the orange zest, hint off banana, faint pepper spice phenols, quite crackery
Taste big creamy doughy wheat, soft, little cracker and bread, fair citrus, orange zest, touch lemony, light bubblegum and generic fruity esters, good banana character, phenol notes with light spice, drier finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, medium light carb
Overall pretty good, solid hefe but doesn't pop, maybe really needs more carbonation

Great hefeweizen! Nice to see something challenging and different in the ocean of IPAs. Beautiful cloudiness, fine effervescence, and rich flavor. Would highly recommend!

Poured into a weizen glass, the appearance was a cloudy pale yellow color with a three finger's worth of white foamy head. Roamed nicely around the glass and slid off at an adequate pace. Light lace.
The aroma had a really nice sweet wheat, banana esters, pronounced clove features and a subtle lemon crispness.
The flavor was moderately sweet taking in fresh sweet wheat and a nice banana estery sort of quality to play with the clove-like spice. Semi-smooth sweet wheat sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a really good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt appropriate as it seemed to guide the overall flow to the feel of the ABV which that felt appropriate as well.
Overall, pretty damn nice hefeweizen that I would have again.
