375ml bottle: Purchased at the brewery. It opened with a loud "POP". This one pours a very cloudy amber color, with a hint of ruby. There was about an inch of a foamy white head that didn’t linger very long. Minimal lacing. The aroma is interesting. It has picked up some of the Cabernet and oak, and the result with the beer is almost brett-like. The taste is very good. There is a good saison in the background, but it has picked up a bit of the cabernet and oakiness. A bit of tartness to it also. A hint of spiciness. I’d definitely buy another one of these.

Bought the last couple bottles at the brewery last weekend! Served into a stemmed over-sized wine goblet.

A. Pours a golden orange with amber hues. Slightly murky. Thin white head fades rapidly to non-existence.

S. Sweet, and actually getting a little dark stone fruit like figs crossed with grapes. Toffee or molasses as well.

T. A white wine barrel for sure: mild dry oak astringency with the light grape flavor. Lighter taste than the aroma predicts. A little boozey. Definitely gets a spicy character as it warms

M. Crisp despite a lacking display of carbonation. Sharp, slight booze, with oak astringency.

O. Not bad, but I will let the next bottle cellar longer, maybe the booze will fade. Thats the worst of it (the booze), otherwise a nice attempt at a fairly big barrel aged saison

Served in a pint glass (odd). The color is slightly hazy orange. There is a small white head.

The aroma is very vinous with some strong grape aromas. There is a hint of acidity present.

The taste is sharp with acidity with some tartness. This comes across as oaky tartness.

This is full bodied, with a rich feeling to it. The carbonation is mellow. This one comes close to being quite good, but I feel the acidity lingers a bit long and is harsh.
