Pours a bright amber in the Duvel tulip. Remarkable amount of coarse bubbles, a low white head, but plenty of swirling lacing. Quite spritzy on the tongue. Fruity hop aroma.

Tangy and somewhat acidic with a watery mouthfeel. A variety of hop flavors, from fruit to pine. Some of the mango and pineapple, but also a resiny hit. I don't taste much malt, but the dry Belgian taste comes on eventually, though it's less yeasty that many others.

A pleasant and fragrant quaff with a hoppy zest, though less bitter and very drinkable. Very light bodied. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Bottlecraft on India Street, priced at $7.45.

Poured straight from the fridge and I get 8 10ths foam, 2 10ths beer? No matter., the colour is a hazy light orange, the foam you already know aboot, the lacing isn’t all that grand.

The smell is yeasty, sweetish from the malt, I don’t really get much of what the IPA brings in the smell.

The taste is yeasty, has almost a funk like character, a bit of sweetness, but the hops sure do show up in the taste. I can taste the citra influence; an abundance of tropical fruity goodness. Read some other reviews how they play out. It certainly is a very dry beer, And, a very enjoyable and very drinkable beer. This, imho, is outstanding. I’ve never even heard of the brewery but this caught my attention after the very first sip. Back down, pineapple! Nah, never mind.

A great mouthfeel rounds out this very fine brew. For me, this is one of THE finds of 2014.

Manzanita bringing their new labels and branding to the table with this bomber. More photogenic and away from the dull woody oranges of yore.

Pours copper orange with a mild amount of haze despite the careful pour. Very carbonated as the fluffy white head rises three fingers above the body threatening to spill over the lip of the glass. All day retention with clumpy lacing.

Fruity with hops and Belgian yeast being very playful, orange citrus and a light artifical mango and strawberry esters with a backing of Belgian spice, clouded coriander and cloves. Spritzy lemon zest and sweet caramel malts.

Bready malt releases a bit of graininess and subtle sweetness with a flavor profile that is much more Belgian pale than IPA. Bubble gum, coriander, orange zest spice notes with a hop balance of muted citrus and grass. Finish is sweet with a light cake batter and more bubble gum. Hardly bitter.

High carbonation in the appearance but it's only moderate over the palate with a slightly full body but it depends on how much yeast is poured. Drink colder.

A very fruity Belgian IPA that flaunts an airy and playful spice and yeast flavor profile. The hops are second rate though and do barely any heavy lifting with some balance and blending in to the aroma.
