Manzanita offers a nice, new tasting room with plenty of space to socialize and taste beer. Food trucks also park outside. The staff is friendly enough, but not entirely attentive. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but it wasn't exactly busy when I was there. I also was not impressed with their beers. They were certainly (mostly) better than average, and they had a decent selection, but they were not memorable. Except for the Night Before Christmas... it tasted like drinking a Junior Mint.

I'm happy to have a brewery in Santee I can be proud of. Nothing special from the outside like most brewereies. Nicely decorated inside with a small tasting bar. The staff was very friendly and they had 7-8 of their own beers on tap. Their beers are pretty tasty and they had a good selection from Kolsch style pale ale, IPA, porter and barleywine, I hope they've got a sour program in the works. Their pints are inexpensive and so are their bottles. I picked up some bottles and shirts to go and plan on returning soon.

I love this place! Jeff and Garry are great guys! I am looking forward to checking out the new improved bigger better brewery! The Pumpkin Ale was Awesome this year! I wish I could get over there for a Growler fill more often than I do! I loved the IPA as well! I'm really glad they opened up in East county! We really needed that. Great vibe, Beer and without the North County attitude! They have done a great job with the tasting room and their events as well. Great place to stop in for a pint or two on your way home! I'll be back Soon! Highly recommend!

Stopped in after Lost Abbey Deliverance. Small operation that brews twice to fill each ferementer. You basically have to sit on a grain bag on top of a keg. Very nice and accomodating people that offered samples and growlers and are working on bottling. They took us in the back while they were brewing and showed us around and gave us samples.

Beers are alright but they've only been open 9 weeks so they will hopefully work out the kinks and come up with some good recipes. We tried all their house beers and were told of a few more that were in the works.

Will go back if in the area.

Been here a few times. I spoke with Jeff the first time I went in. He is a home brewer from way back so he had a lot of input regarding my favorite past time. He took me back and showed me the whirlpool and promised I could come by some weekend and work the back to get the feel of commercial brewing. I still need to hook up!

The first time I went the tasting room was raw but quaint. I went in today, and man, what a difference. A nice bar, stools, cool taps and friendly service.

This is the second closest brewery to my house, and one of two that are feasible without planning. I love the micro feel of the place and I can't wait to come work a bit. Hope you have space, Jeff!

Stopped in here a couple months back to check out this just opened brewery.

The place is small and is in a small business park (the choice for small brewing operations everywhere). We actually almost missed it, but eventually made our way inside.

There is a small room in the entrance where there were a few patrons drinking beers as well as the owner and one of the girls working the bar. There's another, slightly larger, room to the right where kegs serve as seats.

You can order samplers (about four-six ounces of each beer they offer), full pours, and also get growler fills. The owner of the brewery talked with us for a long time and we went into the actual brewery portion of the space as well and spoke more with the owner and the two brewers who were just finishing up a batch of their IPA.

The beers were okay, nothing really all that great. But, the people were all nice and happy to answer any questions that we had. Prices were reasonable, nothing extravagant but not super cheap either.

Apparently they're going to begin bottling some of their beers soon, so perhaps keep your eyes out around town.
