Nice, big, airy, shiny, cool interior. One of the better liquor stores for beer. With a good amount of local stuff and a nice import section on a shelf across the aisle. I even found some stuff I hadn't seen before in other stores.

Jackies is a great liquor store very close to my house. I go there for liquor only though because their beer selection is nothing special. For those who have not already made their way through a nice sampling of the common craft brews then the selection at Jackies is a great place to start. However, it leaves alot to be desired if you are looking for a variety of rare brews. The liquor prices are dirt cheap but it seems that the beer prices are slightly more expensive than the competition. The service is pleasant but seems more focused on the liquor than the beer.

This is a great find in the east cobb area....and everytime I stop by, they have some good selections for a quick grab. Very impressed that they carry Ginger beer near the rum for those Dark & Stormy's. Also have a GREAT selection of bourbon and scotch/whiskey selections. They also stock some nice bomber singles as well as some seasonals. Staff is the reason I go here - nice and friendly and will find you what you are looking for. Nice dog as well as you walk in with a friendly wag of the tail :)

Jackies's Fine Wine & Sprits (formerly Bullocks) is located on Johnson Ferry Road on the right if you are heading North. The business is the first in the 2940 group of buildings in Suite A.
The store was exceedingly clean and well laid out. To the right is a very long row of cold cases and at the back was a very small selection of Belgian singles. The cold cases had pretty much the selection you see in other beer stores around the city.
The service was not particularly offered since the cashier was on the phone and assisting someone with a case of Chardonnay. I'd give it slightly above average, but with only one employee nothing overly above that.
The selection was decent, but not large enough to go out of your way to visit. Simply stop in if you happen to be in the area and need a place with a decent selection.
