Reviewed fully to my phone at Morefield Campground, Mesa Verde National Park, CO.

A- Can pours with a golden body that has a fairly hazy appearance. A white cap rises to one finger with pretty good retention. A frothy ring and island remain atop the brew and lace begins with sheets and ends with drizzled spots.

S- Stone fruits and lemon oil citrus hops jump out of the glass in a strong hoppy aroma. Notes of mango, tangerine, lemon zest, grapefruit and pine. Beneath this is slight cracked grains and bread hints.

T- A slight shift occurs compared to the aroma but the stone fruit forward hop theme remains the emphasis. A slight sweetness gives the mango, melon, tangerine and apricot notes a pulpy feel. Pine strengthens with citrus zest bitterness and floral notes as well. Yeast remains mostly clean and slight cracked grain hints poke through.

MF- The body is pretty much on the light side maybe a shade towards medium. Overall texture is frothy and creamy but not quite chewy. Finishes lightly bitter.

Fairly impressed by this after having a few rather below average brews by them. The hops are bright and flavorful with a nice stone fruit and melon flavor as the highlight.

12oz can to pint shaker

Pours crystal clear light reddish gold, small finger of off white head. Style appropriate film of bubbles after that lays over. Some sticky lacing all the way down

Aroma is big on hop notes of pine, grapefruit with some hints of caramel and bread.

Flavor also initially blushes grapefruit and pine, nice sweetness in the middle that hints of warm danish, orange and pineapple, and finishes with the bitterness you'd expect of 90 IBU

Mouthfeel is light for the style and refreshing

Well medaled big brother to last year's GABF Pale Ale Gold, Knotty Pine PA, I often struggle which to grab. More often, I grab the IPA. Gorgeous appearance and while the hop profile of pine and citrus isn't exactly ground breaking, it is artfully done. As far as Arizona beer in general (Valley) distribution goes, definitely in my top 5, and an argument could be made for #1

Not only was Flagstaff IPA consumed with dinner, but doubled as a drink while I did my second homebrew! With 22 ounces, there was plenty to drink. On to the beer:

Not only is the head thick, but it holds much of its thickness well. Lots of lace ciricles around while below, a pale orange brew with copper hues and a clean body rest. Its aroma brings notes of pine, vague citrus fruit, light tangerine, and modest caramel base, though in terms of hop intensity, it's mild. Same in the taste as well. It comes across more of a "mild" IPA in terms of hop presence. Highlighting the taste are tree sap, some resin, burnt sugar, and a modest citrus note. Despite the mild hop presence, the beer did seem to have an oily texture while being medium bodied. Mild IPA or not, I still found pleasure drinking the bomber.
