Growler fill up at Green Growler grocery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Pours murky darker honey amber, medium tan head, moderate in size, then going to a thin film, irregular collar and nice, thick sheeting and scattered lacing.
Mild nose of malts and musty hops.
Flavorful and easy drinking IPA. Nicely crafted brew, with a solid base of smooth sweet malt. Then in the midsection and finish, hop presence is felt, but not over powering the malts. Carbonation on point.
Well done, highly enjoyable and clearly quality stuff. Nice first brew from this new brewery. Looking forward to trying other of their offerings.

On-tap 9/2/2012 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is light amber color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains caramelized malts, citrus and a good amount of hops.
T: The taste starts out with a strong but not over-powering hops bitterness. Then some mildly sweet flavors of caramel and citrus come in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and dry.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.
