Been here a couple of times and have come away very impressed with the food. A family friendly place when I stopped in during weekend days. A large bar with plenty of open seating. Many TVs around the place with sports being featured. Not the warmest feeling in this place but it is open and well lit with a wall of windows letting in natural sunlight.
The service can be hit or miss. The bartender seemed overworked and having to cover too much ground to be effective or friendly. Most of the other staff is just standing around. I think they need two bartenders on staff at all times.
The beer selection is good but not overly extensive. They have at least one Surly, Summit, Fulton, and Lucid on-tap. Hopefully they will add a Steel Toe and Harriet soon. Where is the Schell's? The tap lines seem clean as both beers I tried were of good quality.
The real reason to come here is for the food, mainly burgers. Everything I have had is properly seasoned and prepared correctly as ordered. I have had the fries and the onion rings and do not think a diner could go wrong choosing either one. Have to try the sweet potato fries someday.
I disagree with the other reviewers and think this place is a bit pricey. I had a smokehouse burger with a standard side and two pints and the bill was $25. I guess I am still not use to the $12+ hamburger. Everything on the menu seemed pricey for the suburbs.

I used to live above this place and was very excited when it opened. The atmosphere is darker with an almost sports bar aura to it. The bar is all wood and very classy. They have 16 taps available at all times. Not 10 like BA shows above. There are at least 30 different bottles available as well. And only a few of those are a repeat of their taps. They strive to include craft beers and are always looking to get something new on tap to serve to their patrons.
The food is great. Try the smokehouse burger! All of their burgers are delicious and their appetizers are hard to beat too. The service is prompt and the wait staff is fun to chat with.
Stop by for happy hour. $1 off taps and $2 of appetizers. Plus they always have specials for Vikings games!

This place defines 'reasonable.' Its not ugly, not glitzy, its a good looking place without being ostentatious, homey without being kitschy. The wait staff is nice, more or less prompt, not the most knowledgeable about craft but were on top of their selection. The selection has a good and wide variety, had a 90 Shilling and Furious. The food was good, a little beyond standard pub fare but not outrageous or pricey. Add to all that reasonable prices, and its a very good place to make your standard, your backup, the place you don't always go to but frequent more often then not.

My wife and I stopped at the Gold Nugget in Minnetonka this evening for dinner. They have a nice selection of taps, well worth your time to stop if you're in the area. I had a Great Lakes Nosferatu and a Southern Tier Pumking. They also had Surly Furious, Lagunitas IPA, Odell 90 Shilling, a Bell's offering (Octoberfest?), Anchor Humming Ale, and a Goose Island offering that I forget. Plus a few standard BMC beers. The food seemed good as well - we both had burgers that we enjoyed, and what we saw on other people's tables looked appetizing. The service was attentive and friendly. If you're in the Minnetonka area it's worth checking out.

Weird that in a suburban strip mall you'd have a pretty classy bar/restaurant. Nice lighting, no loud music, great tables and booths.
Very nice selection of taps that change at least seasonally, if not more often. Bell's, Great Lakes, Lagunitas, among others including some locals. A nice bottle list. They also have their own "house" Amber.
Good food - typical bar fare but with more upscale touches. Mac & Cheese is made with Gruyere, for example, as well as a Kobe Burger. They didn't have their tempura-battered sweet-potato wedges on the menu the last time I was there, but they are worth asking about.
