22oz bottle into SN ipa glass. A very warm tip of my hat to Rusel_G for sending this my way.

A: Pours a clear honey colored amber with a couple of fingers of greasy off-white head. Head faded into a fuzzy, greasy film and bubbly collar that left streaks of soapy lace down the glass.
S: Huge fresh notes of centennial hops with just a kiss of caramel malt and alcohol. I get notes of orange sickle, pineapple, and tropical fruits mixed with light notes of citrus rind and tangerine juice.
T: Follows the nose with flavors of citrus, caramel, tangerine, orange rind, pineapple, and slight tropical fruits. The finish is sweet and full of fruit nectar, and the aftertaste is lightly bitter, floral, and lingering.
M: Medium body, slick and fairly viscous mouthfeel, with low carbonation and low bitterness.
O: Definitely a solid ipa but nothing exceptional. I would drink this again, but not necessarily seek it out. Thank again Russell!.

"Terrapin's 'So Fresh and so Green Green' is a beer that celebrates the hop! Made with freshly picked, whole leaf, 'wet hops' these off the vine beauties will encourage you to drink fresh, drink local and drink now." Brewed in the style of a Wet Hop Harvest IPA. Released annually for the past 2 years under a different variety, 2013 uses wet Centennial hops. Available in 22 oz. bottles and limited draft.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle to a Terrapin snifter. Served above 54º Fahrenheit.

(Appearance) Pours a sudsy cream head of pastel white consistency over a toasted sunset amber body. Moderately hazy, faint specked sediment are mild impediments to clarity. Retention is average, lacing is light and stringy. 3.5

(Smell) The centennial hop delivers a bold fruit aroma with moderate spicy, floral and resinous undertones. Notes of mango, pear, dates and molasses generate a very unique hop profile that would play out well in enhancing several Belgian styles. The malt body offers a slight sweetness to round the beer out, a pinch of syrupy sweetness amongst a biscuity caramel, simple pale and slight rye base. Potency is moderate. 3.75

(Taste) Centennial rounds out the flavors seamlessly, with a mellow floral and a touch of spicy hop bouquet, there isn't as much fruit in the flavor. Centennial is ever present even if not aggressive in this particular beer, enhancing the body and pairing on par with the simple, yet reserved malt profile. finishes with a dash of unsweetened lightly toasted caramel and nod to clean rye for a subtly filling body. A highly drinkable wet hop ale. 4

(Mouthfeel) Texture is smooth, mildly oily, lightly chewy. Carbonation adds a light creaminess, enhancing the smoothness of the beer further. Some light fizz doesn't distract the simplicity of the beer. Body is shy of medium for the style, medium+ overall. Alcohol presence is very light. 3.75

(Overall) As many wet-hopped ales go, the hops do a fine job at rounding out and balancing the ale rather than diversifying and emboldening the flavor further. Not super bitter and not super flavorful but fairly filling. One should appreciate this beer for the simplicity and subtlety that the Centennial hop brings, and how gracefully it pairs with an equally uncomplicated malt profile. Although my palate may have gone through changes somewhat since the last installment, I find this year's batch the most favorable yet. Hopefully the coming years will bring even more unusual hop varieties to explore! 3.75

Bomber bottle, purchased at State Line in MD and transported by my drinking buddy JP.

Pours lightly hazed chestnut amber, under a frothy and lasting medium khaki head, that leaves thick, large and high blotches of stickage.

Herbal/tea hop nose, with an earthiness that's inviting and makes ya want to give this one a big swig.

Tasty and fresh tasting ale, with ample hop presence and malt to sweeten things up a bit. Hops continue on the leafy/herbal tea theme yet with a bit of a bite. Notes of some soft lime, more tea, and a tea infused finish.

Decent and well crafted, but I'm not in love...too much tea character for me, I like more on the citric side I suppose..

A- Clear dark amber color. Poured a super creamy 2 finger head that took a long time to dissipate into constant 1/2 finger. Sticky lacing.
S- You can definitely tell its fresh hopped. Immediate green wood, ammonia type scent mixed in with orange, lemon, peach, and nice caramel malt.
T- Really light. More malt forward than the smell suggests. Caramel and orange up front. Grapefruit, slightly souring fresh hop and pine follow. Pretty good malt backbone. A little pepper comes out at the finish.
M- Medium light body with good carbonation. Lightly oily and slick. Not much aftertaste.
O- This was pretty good. I'm not the biggest fan of fresh hopped IPAs, but this one was nicely balanced and had a lot going on.
