Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber.
Pours pitch black with a think half finger light tan head. Barely any head retention and just a few splotches of lacing.
Aroma is strong vanilla with some undertones of dark chocolate and toasted caramel. There is almost a maple syrup quality about it.
Tons of vanilla on the taste with a hint of white chocolate but it is not as strong as I was hoping. More caramel intertwined along with a touch of maple. Very soft and silky mouthfeel but unfortunately, it is very watery. The flavors also seem to fade away much to fast leaving just a light lingering sweetness.
Overall, a good beer and an improvement over the standard moo-hoo but not the home run I was hoping for. It all just seems a little weak and I was really hoping for more white chocolate!

EVERYONE please let this beer warm up quite a bit before drinking! I accidentally left it in the cooler a bit too long, and I'm glad I left it sitting out for about an hour and a half before really getting into it.
Poured into a small CCB snifter and the color is the deepest opaque brown with some dark chocolatey color around the edges with a twinge of deep red. Decent amount of tan head that lasted about a minute before fading down to just a film across the head and some larger bubbles around the collar. Nice sweet milky aroma with some milk chocolate, vanilla and a very faint touch of bourbon. Taste was very much a blend of dark chocolate and the sweeter white chocolate. Lots of lactose sweetness too. Still that wonderful touch of what I would call bourbon. Did they barrel age this one? Nicely rich and low carbonated. Really glad I snagged this one!

22 oz. bottle poured into a taster.
Appearance - Black. Small khaki head. Can't tell much else as it is pretty dark out.
Smell - White chocolate and milk chocolate. Some sweetness, kinda like vanilla.
Taste - Mimics the smell, without the distinct white chocolate flavor. Lots of milk chocolate. Lactose sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium light for a stout. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Drank about 10 ounces of it. The adjuncts are nice, even if it isn't all that exciting.
