A: Extremely dark, opaque, black with a quickly disappearing leather brown head.
S: Heavy on coffee with some hints of cocoa.
T: A strong expected coffee taste with a slight bitter hops taste at the end. I'm not getting any oatmeal taste though.
M: Smooth, but also kind of sharp on the way down.
D: It's pretty heavy and the taste is very strong.
Overall: Terrapin Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout (COIS) is a good stout but left me wanting a bit more. It's got a great coffee flavor that's thick and bold, but for some reason, and I can't quite put my finger on it, it lacks a decent aftertaste. It sort of comes in strong but leaves something to be desired on the way down. Overall though, it's a good stout and worth a pint at your local bar.

Bottle shared by Curran. Thanks man!
Pours a thin looking watery black, with a small quarter inch head, and not much lacing.
Smells incredibly strongly of nutty roasted coffee, with roasted malt, and baker's chocolate.
This has one of the strongest coffee flavors in a stout that I've ever had, but it's also nicely integrated, as well. Creamy chocolate and vanilla flavor- slightly bitter chocolate chip flavor, with Hershey's syrup, a cookies and cream flavor, and a very small amount of hop bitterness.
This one is medium bodied, but I wish it was a little thicker. Low carbonation, creamy, very smooth mouthfeel.
A real classic that I'm glad I'm finally getting to try for the 1st time.
