Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter.
Appearance: Pours jet black, with three fingers of deep brown, thick head that sits for a long time and subsides slowly. Tons of lacing. Beautiful looking beer.
Smell: Coffee. Lots of coffee. A bare hint of sweet and roasted malts in the background, but coffee dominates here. A hint of burnt espresso backs the normal coffee smell.
Taste: Wow. Coffee hits the tongue right away, mixing with roasted and burnt malts. A constant sweetness is in the background to balance it all out. The finish is long, with a combination of the roasted malt and coffee flavors. The coffee is bitter, but not bitter enough to be overpowering - there is enough of a malt backbone to cut the bitterness. Absolutely incredible. Only sign of the alcohol is a warming feeling on the swallow.
Mouthfeel: Incredibly creamy, perfectly carbonated. Maybe just a tiny, tiny bit thin - there are other stouts with a more full mouthfeel.
Drinkability: This is a phenomenal coffee stout. It is incredibly thick and rich, and there is no hint of the alcohol in the taste. This one is dangerously drinkable. Excellent, excellent beer.

Bottle shared by Curran. Thanks man!
Pours a thin looking watery black, with a small quarter inch head, and not much lacing.
Smells incredibly strongly of nutty roasted coffee, with roasted malt, and baker's chocolate.
This has one of the strongest coffee flavors in a stout that I've ever had, but it's also nicely integrated, as well. Creamy chocolate and vanilla flavor- slightly bitter chocolate chip flavor, with Hershey's syrup, a cookies and cream flavor, and a very small amount of hop bitterness.
This one is medium bodied, but I wish it was a little thicker. Low carbonation, creamy, very smooth mouthfeel.
A real classic that I'm glad I'm finally getting to try for the 1st time.
