hop karma? sounds like the kind of karma i need!
instant karma goodness on the aroma! when i popped the bottlecap off you could tell this hop bomb wafted into the entire room. don't light a match! :-) hop oils everwhere like a perfume.
and it poured out nice too, although the head vanished rather quickly, it did leave some nice foam on the my glass as i drank it.
i know i am supposed to sip this beer but seriously how can i do that? this sipping beer ended up being big gulps for me. perhaps i should have drank it in a big gulp glass? :-)
if this is what i am to expect from terrapin, then i think i am going to try more of their stuff! very delicious

A- Dark reddish brown in the glass. Poured an ok 1 finger head. Good lacing.
S- Smells are on the faint side. Caramel, cracker, surprisingly big booze, plum, raisin, slight touch of pine, citrus, and chocolate.
T- Follows the nose fairly closely; however, the flavors are better on the tongue than in the nose. Caramel, bready malts, plum, earthy hop spice, booze, slight orange and grapefruit with some pine.
M- Slightly thicker than medium. Smooth on the tongue. Slightly drying with a bready, fruity, bitter aftertaste.
O- At first I didn't like it, but the warmer it got, the more I did. In the end, I feel its easiest to explain it as 50% Brown Ale, 40% Belgian Strong Dark Ale, and 10% IPA. It is very nicely balanced considering all the contrasting flavors and styles. I would definitely have it again.
