Pours a cloudy straw color with very little head.
Wonderful aroma, smells like a strong hefeweizen, wheat, clove, banana, honey, bubblegum?
Not all of that makes it out in the flavor, but it's reminiscent of a hefeweizen - full of clove and banana. I can definitely taste some honey, though I might not have pinned it down had it not been listed on the bottle. Some alcohol presence, but considering the ABV, it's well masked.
Mouthfeel light and highly carbonated.
This was interesting. My first wheatwine, and it was quite nice. I've been impressed by Terrapin.

Appearance: Slight haze on a burnt orange color. No head, no carbonation, nothing.
Smell: Sweet caramelized malt and enough honey to kill a bear. A touch of biscuit malt. Deeply cooked malt sugar. Very faint touch of citrus from the hops. Crazy sweet with toffee, brown sugar, and raw sugar. Crazy amounts of honey. Some orange flesh. Slight hint of wheat with some solid alcohol. A hint of alcohol spice as well.
Taste: Honey and a ton of cooked and caramelized malts. Runs caramel, toffee, brown sugar, and raw sugar. It's sweet and then some and the honey layers over it. Aggressively sweet, but not too overbearing. Warming changes all of that. Concentrated raw sugar with a tiny hint of roasted malt. Honey jelly. Faint vestiges of wheat and caramel malt.
Mouthfeel: Medium body. Smooth and slick. Negligible carbonation. Clean, surprisingly.
Overall: The Hulk is now a diabetic.
Fresh, this came with a does of insulin. Aged, it's early onset.
