A- pours a very murky dark amber color with a small creamy light tan head, that reduces to just a small layer skimming the top
S- sweet caramel malt with some piney and herbal hop, a bit woodsy from the oak, alcohol at the end, smells like a barleywine
T- very sweet on the front end with caramel/toffee malt notes, herbal hop, and medicinal notes. The oak is barely noticeable but adds a bit of woodsy flavor, finish is sweet and heavy with an unexpected red-berry sweetness
M- thick & viscous body with low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and syrupy finish, alcohol is pretty noticeable
O- this is one heavy beer, drinks like a barleywine, a slow sipper for sure as the booze is noticeable, interesting
