Thanks cashew70 for the chance to try this one
A- Golden straw in color with near perfect clarity; two finger head from initial pour but fades quickly to just a thin layer atop the liquid. Some decent lacing chases the beer down the sides of the glass.
S- A lot going on here, Belgian influence is easy to pick out with its yeasty scent(bananas, cloves, bubble gum), but then the IPA shows up to the party and makes itself known with its citrusy scents of grapefruit. A bit confusing to try and smell for a review but enjoyable none the less.
T- Back and forth they go as the triple and IPA tussle for center stage in this beer. It actually works in this beer and it really does taste like your drinking two beers at times. I can pick up on a bit of spiciness not noticeable in the scent as well as cloves and grapefruit.
M- Initially sweet with a dryness that is chased by a grapefruitiness that is enjoyable.
D- I'm sorry I only traded for two of these and might need more soon.
