12oz bottle into a snifter. 2011 vintage.
A - Pours a nice, clear amber, with a finger or so of head. Barely any retention, and not much in the way of lacing.
S - Pumpkin, unsurprisingly. Some clove and allspice, a bit of nutmeg, and brown sugar. I have to struggle some to get the aroma out of it, but it actually smells a lot like pumpkin bread. Very pleasant if a little faint.
T - The spiciness is more pronounced in the flavor, and the pumpkin not as strong. Fresh grated nutmeg and clove, mostly. Carrot cake elements, and a surprising bitterness toward the finish. Nice, much more enjoyable than the Pumpking I had prior.
M - While the feel is full, the carbonation is almost aggressive, and a little on the harsh side. It could benefit from a more velvety feel.
O - This was a nice surprise. It's not far from my favorite example (Good Gourd) and had some nice flavors. It was particularly good as it warmed. I'd be happy to buy a 6pk when I see it next.
