Appearance: Pours a delicious looking amber with an orange hue. Has a thick creamy biege-ish head that sticks around for a good while and leaves thick rings of lacing. Like a spiral staircase in some sick twisted Italian horror film.
Smell: A piney hop aroma quickly followed by a grapefuit/citrus 1-2 punch. Senses are engulfed by a truly beautiful smelling brew.
Taste: Hop bite is a plenty with a smooth citrus taste lead by grapefruit and orange. A nice blend of flavors akin to that of a Two-Hearted or 90-Minute with a true onslaught of hops. Terrapin used 6 different types of hops and it really shows.
Mouthfeel: The piney taste provided a bit of discomfort after awhile, but this is a truly great tasting beer. Medium body with the appropriate amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: One trait I truly love about the Terrapin Brewery is that they really know the hop amounts appropriate for each style incredibly well. With that being said, I would have to say this is the year-rounder I'm gonna be reaching for more than their other brews. Delicious, well-rounded but could be difficult to finish a 6 pack. Leave some in the fridge for tomorrow, it'll be alright.

BB second week of June, 2014.
Amber in colour with a smallish white head. Head fades fairly quickly.
Nose is not strong, but presents a mix of malt and citrus hops.
Fairly balanced, but obviously focused on hops. Citrus fruit and a touch of tropical as well. Hard to pick out particular fruits, but i get a mi of orange, grapefruit and mango. A strong malt backbone, with caramel flavours imparting some sweetness. Moderately bitter.
Medium bodied and moderately carbonated.
Overall, a good IPA. Very solid.
