P: Crystal clear copper body mounted by a creamy froth if off-white head that settles to a thin layer of froth. Micro lacing on the edges.

S: Spicy rye, floral perfume, earthy notes, faint pine essence, and a touch of old orange peel.

T/M: Follows the nose with spicy rye, earth notes and floral hops. Citrus bitterness creeps up toward the end. Finishes super dry with floral bitters and orange oil.

O: I really enjoyed this execution! A solid IPA that delivers floral and earthy notes with a sprinkle of citrus delicacy. A easy drinking brew that delivers flavor and quality. One to surely revisit time and time again.

Had it on tap at Southside Grille in South Bound Brook, NJ.

Appearance - dark golden color, slightly hazy...very little head.

Smell - piney, but not overly hoppy.

Taste - for a beer called Hopsecutioner, I expected more of a hop bang. but it is pleasant, and picking up some citrus.

Mouthfeel - good, strong mouthfeel. when I let it sit on my tongue, the carbonation is lasting.

Overall - it's drinkable and drinkable, but would not be my first choice when in the mood for a hoppy beer.

A - Hazy copper color, thin head dissipates quickly into nothing. Very little lacing left behind.

S - Pine, citrus, hops.

T - Follows the nose with pine and citrus dominant upfront. Malt definitely present in the finish, which I like a lot.

M - Decent carbonation, but easy to drink. Not watery at all, to me.

O - I enjoy a good IPA from time to time, but my favorite beers tend to be more toward stouts, browns, etc. However, I really enjoyed this particular IPA. To date, my favorites are Torpedo and Ruthless Rye from Sierra Nevada, and this one, respectively. Definitely worth a shot.
