12oz Brown bottle with pry-off cap and best by of Feb 2015. Poured into a mason jar.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy copper amber with 1/2 finger of head

Smell: Hop citrus and some lemon zest with biscuit

Taste: Hop bitterness up front that has a fruit peel zest to it and some spicy malt notes in the middle with a dry finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with some lingering bitterness

Overall: A solid pale ale that is complex, but doesn't fall apart which helps it to stand out.

Had high hopes for this Rye PA, as I love me some rye in any form. However, it's not very well executed.
The rye seems left behind, but in it's place is a slightly skunky pilsner/pale malt flavor with minimal
hop presence. Reminds me of a very mediocre English Pale Ale. Highest marks for nice carbonation, mouthfeel,
color, and lacing. Taste is bland skunk adjunct. Not an old bottle btw. Drink by 12/14....

Amber orange color with a thin head that disappear quickly.
Nice aroma with predominant notes of unused tea bags, oranges, a bit of rye and light wood.
Citrusy flavor with notes of grapefruit, biscuit and toasted malts, resin, pines, tea bags, rye, oranges and lemon. Quite dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with perfect carbonation.
It tastes like a citrusy APA with a rye twist, not otherwise, just to spice things up a bit. Though, it increases through out the degustation. Really well crafted beer that is worth trying.
