Poured from 22oz bottle into a pint.

Appearance: Very light appearing, much more so than I would have though.

Smell: Really earthy, more like british hops rather than american citrus hops. Not that this is necessarily bad...

Taste: Definitely not overwhelmed with hops like I was hoping.

Mouthfeel: Missing. A severe lack of carbonation and body.

Drinkability: I am usually a huge fan of Terrapin brews, but this one was really disappointing.

Somewhat disappointed. Years past it had a higher IBU's and to be that was the kicker. Now it's just an average IPA. Sorry Terrapin, still love your stuff but this one changed but not for the better.

I'm not really caring for this IPA. The dryness is nice, but the flavor, not so much. It's a bit metallic and more herbal.

L - 1.5 finger offwhite head atop a caramel-orange body.

S - caramel, orange slices, grapefruit.

T - follows the nose. Sweet citrus with a lot of caramel. Low bitterness. Moderate-high sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium-full body with aggressive carb.

O - very sweet.

12 oz can. Pours amber with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head, and lively carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy hops, caramel malt and tropical fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops, caramel malt and tropical fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.

Terrapin Beer Company "So Fresh & So Green Green"
12 fl. oz can, "BEST BY 04/09/2018..."
$2.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ

Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice looking glass of beer. I've poured a half of a glass and I've got a two-finger thick head on it so I'll have to wait a bit. The body is a clear deep amber and the head is rocky and off-white. There's also some almost solid lace where the head has dropped so far so I imagine it's got some pretty good head retention. OK, I topped it up so let's go. I'm not getting a lot in the aroma but this is a fairly old beer if we're talking about a "wet hop" beer - it was probably brewed in October. What I'm finding is floral, lightly citrusy, and herbal (even somewhat minty) over a touch of lightly sweetish and caramelish malt. On to the flavor... wow, very nice. Interesting, I don't think I've ever tasted a beer quite like it. Oddly, I think that might have more to do with the malt and its combination with the hops than it does the hops themselves. I'm getting some caramel, a hint of lemon, mint, some sweet apricot, some tropical notes, and flowers. A stiff bitterness balances it and it finishes lingering. It's almost as if it's the very same beer from the very start at the front of the mouth straight through. Quite often a beer will show different aspects of its flavor as you go, but not this one, not really. Looking back I still have a solid surface covering, and I've drank more than half of it at this point. The lacing is pretty decent as well. It's very smooth and easy to drink and I guess that has a lot to do with its dextrinous medium body and moderate carbonation level. So I don't know if using as much caramel or crystal malt as they did in a "wet hop" beer is a good idea - you'd think you wouldn't want anything to compete with the hops, just something to showcase them - but it works for me. It's a little odd, which is probably a good part of why it hasn't received better ratings, but I appreciate the unusual.

A 12 oz can (no date) poured into a pint glass.

Look- a hazy darker yellow-orange color with about a finger of thin head.

Smell- An interesting mix of resin and citrus fruit. It does have a fresh hop aroma in there.

Taste- Citrus notes and nice resin hops mix with very little bitterness. It is very smooth mix more like an APA.

Feel- Light to medium carbonation with a smooth dry finish.

Overall- a great beer from Terrapin. Smooth and drinkable with no taste of alcohol. Definitely a beer to drink fresh.

Beautiful deep rose gold color with lasting white cap and lacing.

Aromas of resiny, piney hops and rich malt.

Taste of bright, shining hops on entry. Not a harshly bitter hop flavor, rather a velvet hammer approach that brings flavor forward almost softly while at the same time disclosing an underlying strength. Malt is clean and richly flavored like a solid Vienna Lager and offsets the hops not in a balancing sense, rather in an Academy Award winning supporting role. This isn't really a complex beer but it has complex flavors.

Medium-full texture with balancing carbonation.

A pleasant surprise is this one. I was expecting bright hop flavor but the malt presence is a delightful bonus.
