A: Jet black, opaque. A thin beige head. Looks like any good stout.
S: Slightly muted, but the chocolate nibs jump to the forefront. Some slight burnt, roast notes are there as well.
T: fantastic. The sweet chocolate blends perfectly with the roasted malt to form a nice balance. A slight bitterness enters the fold at the back, again lending assistance to balance the milk chocolate.
M: Medium bodied, which is nice so as not to be too filling. A nice creaminess with a slight bite at the back. A decent, bittersweet aftertaste.
O: A very nice milk stout. Easy to drink, not filling and very tasty. Well worth it if you findd yourself in the south.

12 oz bottle, 2011 seasonal.
Opaque, black elixir, thin, tan rim, not much head or surface bubbles.
The chocolate comes through immediately. Kind of a Yoo-Hoo type aroma. Burnt malt, light coffee.
Nice chocolate flavor throughout, some balance with the malt, smooth hop bitterness. Lingering light chocolate at the back-end and lactose.
Thin but not oily, sugary.
Pleasant milk stout with enjoyable chocolate throughout.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Weyerbacher pint.
A- pours black with a big 2" light cola head. Random blotches and waves of lacing.
S- chocolate, lactose, roast
T- roasted malts, dark chocolate, slight bitterness and a bit of a metallic taste.
M- medium body and carbonation. Actose adds a bit of dry creaminess if that makes any sense.
O- nice milk stout but nothing I would look for every year if it was available to me.

Pours jet black with a brown head. Retains as a lacing.
Smells of slight caramel, hershey chocolate, toasty bread malts and hints of coffee.
Tastes like chocolate, light toasty bread malts, lactose sweetness and some coffee flavors.
Medium body with light tingles of carbonation.
Very good tasty chocolatey stout. One of the more chocolatey chocolate stouts I've had. Good strong flavors at a light abv cost adds high drinkability. Would have again, good desert-like stout.

Picked up a single of this little random treasure at my local deli/take-out beer store. Have to admit now, the label totally got me. Let's see how it is.
Appearance: Very dark, coffee like, inky. Tan/dark white head that is about an inch and a half thick.
Smell: Roasted barley scent with a nice tone of malts that are bitter and sweet at the same time. Little bit of chocolate mixed in also. Also a bit of cream that goes over well.
Taste: Has a nice taste of roasted malts and sweet chocolate and almost a vanilla flavor. Very hearty as a brew, but also is nice sweet. The creaminess to this brew is very apparent and good. Hops are mild and really helps to balance out everything.
Mouthfeel: Medium to above medium body. Carbonation is also medium and goes down quite well.
Overall: This brew was actually quite enjoyable. At first I saw this was a chocolate flavored milk stout, I was really intrigued. As this beer went down, I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. Something that works well in the summer and I would totally recommend to a friend or fellow beer drinker.
