Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is a bit hoppy, citrus. Taste is good, hoppy, bitter, a bit of citrus flavor, just a touch of malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is a solid beer.

Bottle from Rick’s in Alexandria. Served in a cervoise. Pours a clear light golden color with a touch of an amber hue. The nose carries some faint leafy hops as well as mild citrus. Not getting any of the Galaxy. Not much other than a generic hop character. No Amarillo either. Pretty generic. Easy drinking with a good bitterness, but the hop character is fairly bland. Just decent.

Picked this up in Totowa, having never tried this before and wondering how good it could be given the low alcoholic content. As a Pale Ale, this stood out fine but there wasn't anything outstanding about this aside from its easy drinkability. This wasn't high on hops or flavor but the balance was sufficient and this is one of the few beers I've had lately that I could drink year-round, or many of in one session.
The pour to this was a light goldenrod with not a lot of head or lacing and a somewhat clear appearance. Not a strong aroma to this and lots of lemon in the aroma. This was backed up by a somewhat strong orange rind taste with some grassy notes to back it up. For a Pale Ale, this was quite sour and almost reminded me of a farmhouse beer because of how earthy the aftertaste was. Not a whole lot of carbonation to scrub everything down either so the aftertaste lingered for quite a while. This beer almost required a glass of water to wash everything down afterwards and this wasn't even watered down to begin with.
Sure enough, this was a session beer but just because the alcohol was low doesn't mean that this called for an encore after being consumed. Not likely to blow anyone away but for a long drinking session, this could find its way into the mix. The taste would not appeal to everyone but for those looking for a Pale Ale low on hops but not on body, this would be a decent choice.

Visiting family in NC picked up a single locally. Enjoyed from a spiegelau glass.
a - brew poured a very soft yellow orange with a thin foamy head that was gone moments after the pour, but left a thin ring of foamy along the ring of the surface of the brew. Lacing was streaky and spotty.
s - soft citric and orange and tangerines. Really nice and soft and fairly fruity. Very enjoyable and really nice smelling. Rather subdued.
t - the hops seems to be more of a bitter presence on the taste as opposed to the wonderful fruity bouquet that was boasted in the smell. After ingot used to the beer, a lot of the soft friends came out and it was actually quite nice. Orange peel and tangerines.
m - soft and light bodied with a bitter slap.
o - overall, I wish this beer tasted as great as it smells. It isn't bad by any means, but ooh that smell. Initially it is just bitter hops, then the flavor starts to resemble the smell a bit, but never gets as good, but does carry nice soft orange tangerines.

Twelve ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Golden hued color with small one finger head that dissipates after about 3 minutes. Nice citrusy lemon aroma. Tastes of light sweetness with citrus. Moderate hop bitterness. Thin mouthfeel but smooth easy drinking ale. Great hot summer day beer.
