12 oz.

Pours a light lemon gold color, very slight haze, with a sugar white head that dissipates to a bit of lacing. Visible effervescence.

Smells of peach cobbler and a hint of citrus, coriander, and fresh grassy malt.

Flavor is notably peachy with some grassy malt and citrus with a very slight hint of dry hoppiness.

Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

A very refreshing warm weather beer which has just the right amount of fruit presence. It's distinctly peach flavored but it doesn't stop being a beer. It's more of a pale ale than a farmhouse in terms of taste, but otherwise this is fairly underrated as far as fruit beers go. Worth a try if you think peach and beer sound good together.

Clear orange, with a lot of head that dissipates quickly and residual effervescence after pouring. Smell is very clean with a hint of peaches and citrus. First taste that hits me is a very slight funkiness, then a mild peach flavor. Wish this delivered more peaches on the nose and the tongue. Mouthfeel is exactly what you'd want from a saison/farmhouse ale. Light and refreshing.

Overall pretty good, wish I got more peaches, but an easy to drink saison/farmhouse ale that would be a great intro to newbies to the style.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a hazy-ish golden color. The white-colored head, however, sucks - it doesn't even form a finger high before quickly fading into nothing. No lacing is left behind.

S: Wow, that's huge peach coming through. Peach is the dominant note, but there also seems to be a strong lactic acid quality - at times, it's more redolent of a Berliner than a saison. Some sugary notes (as expected) come through. Good as a fruit beer, not good as a saison.

T: I'm picking up a faint touch of flowers to start, while the peaches appear around the mid-taste and linger into the finish. Confectioner's sugar is sprinkled around throughout (pun completely and utterly intended). Peach flavors are shown off acceptably, but it's just dull. There are some weird off-notes in the retronasals at first, but they disappear to just leave an average fruit beer (and a sad-sack saison).

M: Somewhat heavy and sweet. This kind of feel is completely unworthy to a saison, but again, it works fine as a simple fruit beer. It is, as the style would dictate, well carbonated. It isn't all that drinkable.

O: I'm rating this as a fruit beer. In that regard, it's average, maybe a mite below. As a saison, though, it sucks. Period. Try it if you really like peach anything, otherwise give it a miss.
