750 ML bottle, vintage 2020, poured into a tulip glass at 48 degrees F:
L - golden yellow with a soft white head that was puffy and lingered
S - nice scents of grass, earthiness, a bit of biscuit and banana
T - follows the nose
F - light mouthfeel with medium carbonation
O - very nice saison, one of the better ones for my palette

This beer is a lightly cloudy gold leaning orange. The head is a very large pure white one, extremely fluffy, with lots of stick. Lots of bubbling activity keeps it moving in the glass and continues to build up the foam. The volume of lacing on the glass is quite high, dissipating little as it goes.
This has a classic Saison character that suggests the brewers know the style. It has all the dryness it should while being light but packing in the aroma and flavor. There's lots of yeasty earthiness, bread and banana, plenty of pale fruits, and lots of spiciness both sweeter and dry. There's something floral/leafy to the light hops bitterness that adds good balance, some tropical fruits and a bit of citrus rind in the end.
Maybe it was a particular batch, but this one was filling and a bit overly fluffy. It was in every bottle poured, though. It effervesces to the point that it's almost difficult to swallow, and it has to sit to settle even slightly. Still, the dryness is at the right level and it shows even crispness and smoothness when given a chance.

Poured from a 750ml bottle into a tulip. Batch 599 brewed 10/4/13 bottled 10/30/14
A: Hazy brown color with a generous 1+ finger head that slowly settles
S: Bready malts, floral and a hint of banana
T: Matches the nose. Malt/floral and a touch fruity. The finish has a funky bitterness that I can't attribute to anything pleasant
M: Medium-bodied, a touch sweet, good carbonation
O: I have to kick this up a notch given the awesomeness of the art on the back label. Otherwise would be a 3.5. I recently purchased this year-old bottle and while I know the style can age, I question its storage. Good as is but I think it would show better young

You have to like Saison's to enjoy this beer. It poured a cloudy yellow color with white head that dissipated. The scent carried mostly floral tones. The taste to me was similar to that tanish clear Life Savor (tropical fruit mixed with hints of butterscotch). The mouthfeel was medium in body with little carbonation. Overall its a solid beer but again....you have to like Saisons to thoroughly enjoy.
