Not a saison, pretty much a belgian dubbel. Kinda malty, very belgian aroma and flavor. Again malty with a bready feel. Way to sweet for a saison. No floral notes, some deep raisin/fig/plum flavors

Rockmill seem to have a lot of good Saisons. This one had a dark hazy golden/brown hue with a very thin head. The grapefruit aroma was pleasant and the taste was good. There's lemon, perhaps a tad too much, some bread and a tad pepper. Unfortunately it did not have much aftertaste.

Pours a bright Amber/ orange with slight head which fades quickly. Smells of mutes citrus and a slight musk. The taste is also muted citrus with a peppery finish. The carbonation is low, and the beer goes down smooth. Overall a pleasant beer.

Enjoyed from the 750 ml bottle in a Delirium snifter. This fine saison pours a cloudy rustic yellowish orange with a solid head of slowly dissipating white foam that leaves nice lacing and a thick ring. Nose of lemon zest, crackers, orange zest, earthy yeast, and light sweet malts. Citrus notes and light bread are to all sides on the taste. Yeast offers a nice light mouth feel while the malts come through with a light sweet note that fades to a light citrus tart note. Lively mouth feel, smooth, and light dry finish. Crushable while grilling. Complex and delicate. Another great brew from a great brewery.
