Not much to say about Sebago, but that their food is really good.
I personally find Sebago's brew pretty average. Their hefe is probably my favorite.
The atmosphere is pretty bland, not much going on.
Selection is always the same, except the seasonal. Slick Nick is alright and so is the Red Ale. The Red Ale was pretty text book. Hoppy like it should be.
The service and quality is decent. Their staff is pretty attentive.
But like I said their food is off the HOOk! That's what keeps me going back. Stuffed Mushys are great and so is the steak sandwich

This is simply replacing my earlier review from 2007 (I believe) which has somehow been removed from the site. This location is now closed in favor of the new location they moved to just down the road, less than a mile from the old site near the mall.
I have been here several times over the past few years. It is located in a sterile Mall area, occupying a smallish stand alone building in the back of the parking lot, very close to the Mall Road exit off the Maine Turnpike. Definitely worth the stop. There is no real atmosphere to the place except for the crowd which seems happy, talkative and friendly. The bar area is relatively small and the dining area is not at all distinctive. Food is average to good, some things better than others I think, but it is not the best dinner choice, especially with so much to choose from in nearby Portland by the water. They feature their own brews and usually they are good, always fresh, being made just down the road a piece. The crowded bar can be a bit difficult when you would like some beer assistance so I am not crazy about the place, don't always stop in even though I stay within a mile of the place about once every couple months. But the beer is good, probably your best option in South Portland I think it's safe to say.

I am a big fan of Sebago's brews and couldn't wait to go to the Brew house. This particular location (which is the only one that I have gone to) doesn't have the brick/brew house feel to it. That being said, it is a nice set up, with fantastic food. The menu is a true menu that stems far beyond your typical bar menu. It's actually a nice meal that you get to also enjoy some good microbrews.
I have been there several times over the last year. Service has always been good regardless of sitting in the dining area or at the bar.
Best time of year to go is the winter time when you can get their Slick Nick on tap!!

Sebago- Portland Mall
Pulled off of 295 South and you can't miss it. It's staring you in the face. Drove into the huge snowy lot and walked into the large brewpub. Bathrooms to the right bar far left against the front wall and plenty of tables throughout with a half wall splitting the place in half. Very long bar with the bartender working fast and furious. Had the red Ale but didn't eat. Atmosphere was ok but didn't have the dark wood and brick, comfortable hangout vibe I like. More of a mall restaurant atmosphere. Quite packed for a Thurs. evening in late Dec.
I ordered a mixed 6 pack 2each of the Porter, IPA, and Nut Brown. Had to go around the back of the building to pick it up. cost $9

Located near the Maine Mall. Decided to try eating at this restaurant even though I haven't been the biggest fan of their brews. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying a couple that I do along with some food.
The atmosphere is kind of sterile, in a good way when it comes to being clean and organized. But I like a bar that has a little disorganization, walls adorned with artifacts of beerdom and a cozy setup. This is a place that's priority seems to be a restaurant first and a bar second, which does translate to a more classy place.
Service was quick and the food was good, although nothing too special. Although I probably won't eat here again, at least at this Sebago location, since there are many more options in the nearby area. The one in the Old Port looks to have a better setup which I would like to go to and compare.
