Pours clear orange bronze with two fingers of creamy off white head.
Fresh piney aroma, herbal with hints of ripe pineapple, over ripe orange, tangerine and notes of caramel malt.
Taste follows with a herbal and piney hop blast, hint of diesel, tangerine, a bit of peach; bready caramel malt, a touch of booziness and an earthy bitterness.
Full almost oily mouthfeel, boozy warmth with a sticky herbal and earthy bitterness that builds on the palate.

473 ml can (“17/12/21”) poured into a stemmed tulip glass. Clear, golden yellow with a thick head of white foam. Aromas of malty grain, tropical fruit and fruity eaters, pine needles and resin, and some alcohol. Flavor continues with a solid malty base, piney and slightly dank hops, and warming alcoholic hints. Medium body, slightly oily feel and moderate carbonation. A nicely balanced, big and boozy DIPA.

This is a beautiful double IPA beautiful overall smell strong pine smelling almost like molasses. Overall what a tremendous flavour with a smooth after taste very session-able . I hate these new guys pure Alcohol forward with out any care for the taste. This is tremendous at a 9.1 alc.volume and honesty dangerous because I could have 4 or 5 and not notice the alc at all .. good job to the brewmasters

....not reviewed in more than a year?! Really ?!?
Bought a tall can at Van. liquor store, refrigerated. Packaged on Dec.16/20, so 3 months old.
Pours clear gold. with two fingers of creamy white head dispersing to a thin-but-covering skim. Aroma is a a bit bready, fruity, and hop-forward.
Taste is crisp and drying, as one could expect from 9%. But it is not as overwhlemingly boozy as some even lower abv's I've had.
Aftertaste is dominated by astringency, after just 10ozs, dry mouth moves in to stay!
Not a session beer, for sure, but a good execution of a pretty high abv recipe.

S - Herbal and floral hops. 4.0
T - A hoppy beer with the bitterness balanced by a malty backbone. Not sweet. 4.0
MF - Medium bodied with a barely dry finish. 4.0

Poured from a 650ml bottle, 9.1% abv Citra and Galaxy hops. This bottle was bought Dec/2015 and has a new label.
L: Pour a clear Amber very thin white head and spotty lacing, looks flat.
S: A nice citrus hoppy nose some floral and fruits.
T: Hops are there with the malts needs more hops.
F: Somewhat low on the carbonation maybe just this batch a nice bitter finish.
O: Well for me this one is missing lots for a Imperial IPA i bought one to try but this one needs work in my opinion.
