Full disclosure - we are hard-core "regulars" of the best-kept secret in the Fort Myers area.
If you were to walk-by Hurricane's, you'd probably be oblivious that what appears to be a typical franchised wing joint is actually a craft beerhouse in disguise. The staff is incredible. Most of whom have been working there for years.
There are countless combinations of wing flavors, and the beer section is vast. They pride themselves in creating blends of the craft drafts. A beer purist may be offended by this, but ask to try a "Rugburn" before you rush to judge. :)
Fun place to take the family. Kids are welcome.

Let's get right to business. Good draft & bottle selection, good food, great wings with 30+ different sauces, and the owner, Chris, is s beer geek. Best taproom in the area in my opinion. He said tap rotates at least monthly, beautiful.
Tonight I had an Oak Aged Unearthly on tap as well as a Oaked Monkey (they mix Victory's tripel with the OA Unearthly). Also on tap was CCB Jai Alai, DFH 90, Rogue Bastard, etc.
They had a nice selection of bottles including: Bells, DFH, CCB, Capital, Victory, Southern Tier, Stone, Rogue, Oskar Blues.
Goodbeer great prices!

My brother in law raves about the wings here, and he said they have a pretty nice craft selection too, so time to hit it up.
Pretty small place, but well decorated. Kinda a sports bar, meets island grill type of theme. We got there pretty early on Saturday, so we beat the crowd and were catered too very well. First off, the beer selection is the best around. Maybe 10-12 taps, with the majority of those craft. I ordered an Oberon, which is drinking very nicely right now. Really big bottle selection with all big boys, Victory, DFH, Bell's, Terrapin, and others.
The menu features 30 flavors for your wings, along with sandwich, and appetizers. I had the ancho chili lime sauce for my wings, and it was great. The highlight of the evening was when the owner took time from cooking to come out to our table and talk beer with us for a while. He is definatley all about the craft beer. He wants to expand the offerings, and is willing to bring in whatever the customers ask for. No cigar city this time, but he said it will be coming back as soon as the distributor gets it.
All in all, this is a great little place, and one I will be frequenting when I move to fort myers this summer. Skal.

I've been to this place twice since I saw the review and I must say, I was really surprised. I've been to a Hurricane Grill and Wings before and it was all MCB crap. This place was awesome. They had a line up of 7 taps. One BL for the crap drinkers, and 6 more with craft. I had the Cigar City Jai Lai IPA and the Southern Tier Imperial Stout. With happy hour 3-6 the Southern Tier was only $2.50, wow.... They also have about 25 bottles of craft beers. Lots of Flying Dog and some other stuff you won't find many places like Gordon IPA and some other beers with a high ABV. The other time I went we ate. Food was average and the place is pretty small so it can get crowded. They do have outside seating so that helps.

Good little wing joint at Coconut Point that just happens to have the best selection of beers in this area. The wife and I went last night and the wings were fantastic. They have a ton of sauces to choose from which is a big plus. The beer list may not have as many options as larger beer bars but they have a good number of great beers on tap and in bottles. We only had 4 beers but those were Cigar City Jai Alai and Bell's Oberon on tap and Westmalle Tripel in a bottle and Oskar Blues Gordon Ale in a can. The service was excellent and the server seemed somewhat knowledgeable. The beer prices are a little high for this area but then again nobody else has their selection of craft beers either. My only negative is that the first beers were brought in chilled glasses so we made sure to order non-chilled glasses for the second round. We'll be back for sure.
