750ml bottle from the recent release, into a Cantillon tulip.
A: Pours an apricot-like orange with a nice white head.
S: Nose is all funk and fruit. The noyaux is slightly sweet, yet also almost medicinal. The raspberries give the aroma an acidic edge. Plenty of oak and wet hay funk.
T: Puckering raspberry skin and apricot acidity, slight sweet raspberry flesh, drying oak, gamey brett, slightly nutty. Lactic and dry in the finish. Fruit lingers on the palate.
M: Light-bodied with moderate carbonation. Very dry.
O: This beer is a fruit bomb, and very sour. I really liked how the combination of raspberries and noyaux worked. Just a really great beer.
