A: Cloudy yellow color with a small, very lightly off-white colored head.
S: The aroma is quite funky and sour offering up notes of apricot and floral qualities.
T: Taste is more of the same. Fairly aggressive sourness, tart apricot, lemon, floral notes, just a hint of berries and some light oakiness.
M: Body is on the lighter side as is the carbonation. Aggressive sour tartness without anything to balance it out.
O: Had this one immediately following a Sang Noir, so the comparisons are inevitable. Noyaux had a better nose to it, but Sang Noir tasted better, offering up more fruit and a better balance. Overall, a nice beer, but not one that I think I'd want a whole bottle of.
