This one-of-a-kind NW sour is a blend of Belgian strong blondes aged in white port barrels with raspberries, then blended with select barrels of strong blondes that were aged on the toasted meat from the apricot nut, or Noyeaux.

Pours dark orange with some red hue. A small bubbly white heads that recedes quickly with no lacing.

Raspberry puree aroma with some strong lactic notes and some oak.

Again tons of jammy raspberry flavor. Don't get a ton of apricot although there is something fruity in addition to the raspberry I'm sensing. Sour lactic acid and drying oak on the end.

Medium body and carbonation.

In the vein of most other Cascades. Lactic sourness with fruit. Probably about middle of the road in terms of the Cascade fruit sours I've had. Some complexity is there, but raspberry overshadows some other flavor nuances. Still tasty. (621 characters)

750ml bottle served into a snifter. Thanks for this one Tom!

A: Murky orange/brownish color. Thin white head that receded very quickly.
S: Citrus sourness. Burst of raspberries. Some oakiness, a touch of apricot and grapes. Tons of lactic acid.
T: Faint apricot and mango. Lots of raspberries and woody flavors. Slight vinous notes. Very sour!
M: Medium body with good carbonation. Very drinkable despite the sourness.
O: Excellent sour by Cascade. I've loved everything I've had by them so far. Highly recommended. (521 characters)
