On tap at the Cascade Barrel House. Pours a finger of head on a hazy light straw body.
The aroma is grain.
The taste is grainy with a mild bitterness.
The texture is crisp with a medium body.
It's a nice and easy drinking brew.

A: Poured a light copper color with a small white cap

S: Some grains, light floral and fruits

T: A bit malty, little hops but some floral and fruit notes are detectable.

M: A bit light but chewy as well. Malt forward and nut your typical West Coast APA.

On tap at the brewpub. Straw colored ale, made with lager hops. Can't really smell the german pilsner and noble hops.

Can't really taste much with this either. At 26 ibu, it seems to be an ale made for those who prefer adjunct lagers. Nonoffensive, nonadventurous, but decent. Can't say anything 'bad' about it.

Bought a bottle just for shits & grins, no difference on tap or in bottle.

I think they just re-branded their Pale Ale...

Pours a nearly flat, clear, commercial copper hue, little head, no lace. Smells like an adjunct brew, no hops noticeable. Very cereal and grain driven nose and palate. Light body with no hops, very little going on. Nothing really screams good beer. Doesn't even really scream decent beer. It's like if Budweiser made an Ale or something. Stick with the sours guys, it's where your strengths lie.

On another note... they were selling these to go for half price. Go figure...

On tap at the Raleigh Hills Raccoon Lodge.

A pale golden yellow with a thin, white head with decent retention and lacing, this looks decent. The nose is utterly inoffensive. I don't smell the German pilsner, and I barely smell the noble hops (maybe some lemon?) Faintly grainy, moderately husky and utterly bland. The palate is no better. Opening mildly doughy, mildly grainy, faintly bitter and with a mild flavor of lemon, a little sweet. The finish is insipidly clean, lacking in any real flavor except for some bicarbonate, more than is necessary. What this does is that it wipes out the little flavor that can lift this beer out of mediocrity. Poor.
