750ml bottle at share courtesy of Toby. Bright copper colored body wit small, fizzy head. Yeasty funky aroma, tart, berries. Taste puts the barrel first, followed by plenty of tart fruity flavors, woody.

L: A dark brown ale color.
S: Strong woody caramel flavor.
T: A very earth rich tarty honey with hints of spices at the end.
F: A rich light wooden honey beer.
O: A unique simple honey beer that's like a mead but overly sweet and done.

Thanks to Andy for sharing.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice clear honey amber hue with a thin white hue that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of decent alcohol burn, tartness, lactic acid, light generic fruit, fair amount of oaky barrel.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, fair account of tartness. Generic fruit, sourness. There is good barrel notes, rum, bourbon, citrus zest.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, Alcohol hidden well, but, rather flemmy.
O - Overall this beer was rather solid, but, awfully flemmy. Had better.

Decent fizzy foamy head fades at fair pace, little lacing, slight chill hazed reddish orange color.
Nose big sour, big sour blond malts, tart fruity like, sour stone fruit, light funk, decent acidity, light buttery oak.
Taste brings big sour malt and funky fruit, tart stone fruit little cherry thing, sweet candy like barleywine malt, into mild rum and vinous notes, buttery oak flash, fair sour and nice acidity, light funk, tangy. Mild flemmy acidic finish, cherry funk, etc.
Mouth is med bod, flemmy acidic, decent carb.
Overall decent, tons of sour sticky flemmy fruit and malt, bit too sticky flemmy in the end but still nice.

A bit of nail polish. Incredibly drinkable for the ABV. A bit slick feeling. Solid ... but maybe past its prime?
